Thank you for expressing an interest in Laburnum Public School. Investing in your children’s education is one of the most important decisions you will make in your lifetime and one that requires great thought. These are formative years, and the relationships made, through friendships and interactions with teachers, will empower them for the future. It is crucial that those sharing the responsibility for your children’s education also share the values that are an essential part of your family traditions. The academic year for all classes commences in April and ends in March.
Admissions are open throughout the year, but are subject to availability. Your child can start school at any time during the academic year, except if seeking admission to CBSE Classes X and XII, As the academic year commences in April, maximum enrolments take place in the months of November-February. We suggest you plan and complete the admission of your child in advance to avoid the rush period, as the Admissions Team reviews applications for new admissions from November each year.

Scholarship
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP (only for Classes XI 2024-25)
- Students who have scored 100% in Class X Board Examination 2024, under CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE school will be given 100% fee waiver in the School Tuition Fee of Class-XI (Session 2024-25).
- Students scoring 97.6% to 99.9% aggregate and above in Class-X Board Examination 2024 will be given 75% fee waiver in the Tuition Fee of Class-XI (Session 2024-25).
- Students scoring 94.6% to 97.5% aggregate in Class-X Board Examination 2024 will be given 50% fee waiver in the School Tuition Fee of Class-XI (Session 2024-25).
- Students scoring 90% to 94.5% aggregate in Class-X Board Examination 2024 will be given 25% fee waiver in the School Tuition Fee of Class-XI (Session 2024-25).
- The Scholarship entitlement shall be calculated on the scores of five main subject (NOT on the basis of best of five). Score achieved in Optional Subjects in class X Board Examination shall not be considered on the aggregate for Academic Scholarship (XI-XII).
- The Scholarship in Class XII (2025-26) shall continue only if the child secures 90% in aggregate and above in Class XI Annual Examination (2024-25) in five main subjects.
SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP
- National Level Sports achievers will get 50% fee waiver in the School Tuition Fee of the upcoming Academic Session 2024-25.
- State Level Sports achievers will get 25% fee waiver in the School Tuition Fee of the upcoming Academic Session 2024-25.
- Student will be considered and approved ONLY to avail ONE CATEGORY OF SCHOLARSHIP (whichever is higher).
- A student will not be eligible for Academic Scholarship and Sports Scholarship, in the Academic Year, if:
- The student has been found guilty of gross misconduct and/or has been issued two or more Yellow Cards.
- The student has been suspended from school for any period of time.
- The student has been found guilty of being involved in any defamatory activity against the school or in act of bringing disgrace to the school.
- In case of any dues that are pending with the school accounts office, as per the school fee structure.

STEP 1: ADMISSION ENQUIRY
Submit the online Enquiry Form from this link or visit the school admissions office. Our counsellor will get back to you to answer your questions and collect the required information.
STEP 2: REGISTRATION
The parents are requested to visit the school Admission Office, fill the registration form and purchase the school prospectus. Kindly carry one latest colored Passport size photograph of the child and the parent along with self-attested Date of Birth certificate. Alternatively Parents may also download the application form online by clicking here (Download Form). Once the form is filled, please take a printout of the same, fill in the details and submit the hard copy of the completed form to the school.
Admission Procedure (Class- IX)
You will need to carry the Report cards of your ward, of Classes- 8th, 9th. The same will be put across to the Principal of the School, post which a written assessment will be conducted for students applying for Science and Maths as Subject options. Should you wish to proceed with the Admission post your school tour and after getting confirmation from the School office, you will need to fill the Registration Form and submit.
With the form you need to submit the following documents-
Original plus one photocopy of the students Birth Certificate. (The original will be returned immediately after verification).
Photocopy of Report Cards of Std. 8th & 9th.
STEP 3: SCHOOL VISIT & INTERACTION WITH THE PRINCIPAL
Parents / Guardians are invited to visit the school campus to understand the culture and ethos of the Institution. A meeting can be scheduled with the Principal, so parents can have an interaction with the Head of the school, ask questions and collect any information they require. This can be done by fixing a prior appointment with the FOE.
STEP 4: FORM SUBMISSION
The parent needs to fill up the admission form and ensure all documents are in order. Kindly intimate the school in case your child requires some special assistance due to any health reasons.

The following documents need to be submitted along with the Registration Form
1. Copy of the Birth Certificate
2. Copy of Report Card of previous year (only needed for admission to class 1 onwards)
List of documents required at the time of admission:
1. Evidence of having graduated from the previous class.
2. 4 photographs of the student
3. 2 parents photographs
4. Original TC from the previous school (for students seeking admission from class 2 onwards)
5. Proof of residence
6. Original Certificates may be produced at the time of admission for verification
7. Photocopies of all achievement certificates in the field of Academics, Sports, Extra Curricular activities.
8. Photocopy of Passport if available. This is mandatory for overseas students.
9. The Admission documentation booklet must also be completed and duly signed by both Parents. It contains information which will assist you in your relationship with the School.
Acceptance of Admission:
1. Students are admitted on First Come, First Served basis depending on vacancies
2. We conduct no formal interviews with the child or the parent.
3. Selected candidates will be required to make the fee payment within 7 days of the declaration of the result.
4. The school reserves the right to admissions. In all matters pertaining to admission, the decision of the Admission Committee will be final.
Fee Payment Details
Once the Fee and documents are submitted, you will receive an Admission Confirmation Letter through courier or E-mail, from the school. This will inform you about further formalities, to be completed, if any.
Parents will be intimated of the date and time of uniform & textbook issue
Your ward will be allotted the section on the day of admission. The time table for your ward will be handed over to your ward by the Class Teacher.
Kindly inform the School of your joining date. This is mandatory because Staff need to be informed to expect your child on a particular day and they in turn need to make preparations accordingly.
Teachers will assist your child with the syllabi which has been covered in the class till date.
STEP 5: PAYMENT OF FEES
Once the above steps are satisfactorily completed parents will receive an admission offer and may pay the applicable fees to confirm admission.
STEP 6 : PARENT ORIENTATION PROGRAM:
There will be a parent orientation program before the beginning of the new academic session. This program will acquaint the parents with the Vision, Mission & Ethos of the school.
FAQ
The parents would have to register the child (online / in the school office) for the age-appropriate class and submit documents accordingly. On completion of the registration process, parents will be invited for an interaction with the Principal. Admission will be confirmed on the payment of the fees.
Most of the schools provide transport facility but there are some exceptions. Please contact specific school authorities.
Uniforms, books & transport would be charged on actual. Fees to be paid additionally.
Primary School up to class V: No written tests are required for primary till V cass. Here, the admission can be confirmed after an interaction with the senior management of the school
Senior School: Admission to senior classes can be attained after the child attempts the entrance tests for two subjects, i.e – English and Mathematics.
Schools organise excursions and educational trips for the students. Some of them are optional others may be compulsory.
School provides the extra care and remedial classes for special children with special needs.
A Holistic Approach as it promotes social-awareness and a sense of responsibility with self-confidence among the students. It looks at the whole student and their life experiences. It connects the different school subjects to teach them in the context of each other. It helps the students to develop strong critical thinking abilities and makes them exceptional at problem-solving.
